Delivery & Returns

Read Bros aims to provide quick delivery of goods to your home or business.

We have provided the standard delivery charges and timeframes below as a guide.

^These may be subject to change for different types of orders such as specialised orders, very large/bulky items, multiple items.  If there is a variation to these delivery costs on your order, you will be contacted by a team member to discuss and make alternative delivery arrangements.

If multiple items are ordered and need to be delivered separately (e.g. due to supply or packaging), this will be provided at no extra delivery cost.

*For delivery costs, regular and rural delivery addresses are as defined by New Zealand Post address data.

Delivery locations

• Delivery cannot be made to PO Boxes
• Please provide business name if the delivery is to be made to a business/commercial address
• Delivery outside of New Zealand may be possible on some items by special arrangement. Please email [email protected] to enquire about overseas orders and delivery before purchasing online.

Returns and refunds

We will exchange or refund products within 30 days provided that the product is returned with a valid proof of purchase or delivery docket and is unopened and unused in original condition and packaging, includes all accessories and is not a customised item.

Customised items include (but are not limited to) rope, extrusions, made to order products, special orders, any products that are cut instore or mixed to specific requirements. These items cannot be refunded or exchanged.

We will refund to your original payment method where possible or, if you prefer, we can issue a Read Bros Gift Card for the sum equal to the cost of the product.

Products can be returned to the store in person or couriered back to us at the customer’s expense. Please complete this RETURNS FORM and ensure this is sent back with the products for return or exchange. 

Faulty Goods

If a problem occurs with a product bring it back to us with your proof of purchase. We will either repair, replace or provide you with a refund, as set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Order Cancellation

If you want to cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible. If it has already been dispatched it cannot be cancelled.

If we can cancel your order prior to dispatch, we will refund to your original payment method where possible or, if you prefer, we can issue you a Read Bros Gift Card.

If you have ordered a special item (e.g. an item we do not usually hold in stock), it cannot be cancelled if we have already placed the order with our supplier.

Orders for customised items cannot be cancelled if any customisations work has begun on the order.
