125-year Anniversary Swiss Army Knife
The Victorinox 1897 Replica Limited Edition Swiss pocket knife takes you back to 1897, the year in which Karl Elsener I created the Swiss Officer’s & Sport Knife, the first model of the type of pocket knife we now know as the Swiss Army Knife. With this replica, Victorinox celebrates the 125th anniversary of the Swiss pocket knife. They have tried to stay true to the original design and tools from that time as much as possible, but with small adjustments to the springs to make sure opening and closing the tools is safer.
The packaging is just as special as the pocket knife. The packaging tells you the story of Victorinox and the Officer’s & Sports Knife. The Replica 1897 is wrapped in a canvas sheath and the whole is placed in a plastic time capsule in which you can safely store the knife.
Limited Edition…..This replica of the first Swiss pocket knife was only produced 9.999 times. Each knife is individually numbered with a matching certificate. You can find the unique number on the back of the corkscrew.
