This is a larger diameter version of PERI’s electrical lead free solder. Being 100 percent tin with no lead, it has a higher melting point than 60/40, which can be more difficult to work with. This solder has a rosin core flux which leaves no residue but is less potent than resin flux. Rosin fluxes are based on natural pine (tree) rosin, while resin fluxes are based on synthetic or modified rosins.
This solder comes on a plastic spool.
